At an altitude of 1100 to 2700 m above sea level under the Dachstein, you will be offered an incomparable variety of sports facilities over the summer months: With pleasure hikes in the alpine region, mountaineering on countless mountain peaks, climbing on via ferratas and Nordic walking along the panorama avenue. Winter is one of the most beautiful seasons in Ramsau in the Schladming-Dachstein region. It lures with glittering snowfields, fresh, clear air and in cold nights with a starry sky of enchanting beauty. The 220km long cross-country ski trail network of Ramsau am Dachstein offers all levels of difficulty and the best conditions for both pleasure runners and top athletes. From Haus Gertraud you can reach the groomed cross-country ski runs in just a few metres via a specially created track and literally enjoy them to the full. In deep winter conditions you can also rent snowshoes from us and start your adventure away from home. If you are looking for skiing pleasure in the Schladming-Dachstein region, you can be in the middle of the 4-mountain ski swing in just a few minutes by car. The next entrance to more than 230 km of slopes is the Reiteralm. After a strenuous day on the slopes, you can end the day with a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride. In spring and summer up to the breathtakingly colourful autumn you can enjoy the premium hiking region Schladming-Dachstein from the front door from now on. A trip to the Dachstein with the gondola is of course a must and so you can enjoy this magnificent view from above for free from two nights on.
