Accommodation location
Our three-star superior hotel is situated at the entrance of the Gasteinertal with a view of the Klammstein castle. The centre of the village of Dorfgastein is 5 kilometres away. Hiking trails, such as the Gasteiner Sagenweg start right outside our hotel. Simply leave your car parked at the free parking lot in front of the hotel. You will experience summer refreshments at the solar bath of Dorfgastein that our guests can visit free of charge.

Description
The 9 rooms that were newly renovated in 2014, all come with balcony access and a view of Salzburg’s Mountains. In the affectionately furnished 20-25m² double bed and family rooms, you will find sufficient space. After a challenging skiing day you can unwind in our infrared cabin and afterwards recreate in the relax area.
Pamper your palate with fresh culinary delicacies, personally prepared by your host. Our morning fit breakfast buffet allows you to start the day full of energy.

On holiday with children you should not miss out on our extensive Burgblick Dorfgastein day-trip and holiday arena that features a sunbathing lawn, Kneipp facilities, an experience playground, a go-cart facility, the Zwergerlwald kids’ area as well as power sites and an exciting circular hiking trail. Pure kids’ action is on offer at the indoor children's area as well. In summer, you can end the day with grilled specialities and live music, all organised by us.

Winter in Gastein
During your winter vacation Gastein’s mountains will ensure unforgettable holidays. Whether snow shoe hiking, skiing at the Dorfgastein Großarl skiing area or tobogganing – winter lovers will surely get their money’s worth here. After a breath-taking skiing day in the mountains of the Salzburger Land, you can unwind in the nearby Alpentherme thermal spa with its numerous sauna and unique bathing facilities. 

Summer in Gastein
Explore Gastein’s mountain world on guided hikes and become one with nature. Bikers will surely enjoy the Alpe Adria cycle trail that leads right past our Hotel Burgblick.

Musical delights as well await you at the Hotel Burgblick – the home of Austria’s hippest show band, “Die Dorfer” as well as of the “Gasteiner“ band.
