Stubaital-Neustift Ski Holidays in Ski Weekends So Close To Innsbruck
Stubaital-Neustift (Neustift im Stubaital) in Austria is located in Tyrol where some of Austria’s (and Europe’s) best skiing is found. Stubaital-Neustift is only 25 km from Innsbruck, so it’s easy to see why skiing and snowboarding are so popular here—ski weekends have never been so easy. As can be discerned, Stubaital-Neustift is part of the Innsbruck Glacier Ski (and Stubai Superski) Area. At the right price and access to 140+ pistes, the ski pass affords entry to Fulpmes, Tulfes, Igls and connection to Stubaier Gletscher, Schlick 2000, Serles and Elfer. Stubaital-Neustift itself includes 18 blue runs, 9 red runs and 9 black runs, 69 km, 45 km and 33 km each respectively. One of the many highlights of Stubaital-Neustift skiing is the 10 km long piste, losing over 2100 metes of elevation; the lift ride up is worth every second of the smooth and fast ride down. Other than downhill, there are 48 km of cross-country skiing and snowboarding that includes a 10 km touring slope, the 100 meter half-pipe dubbed “Wilde Grub’n’” and some nice extensive powder. Stubaital-Neustift opens up at the end of November and closes either mid (or the end of) April.
